Requirements for Purchasing Evie:
*Home with no kids under 13
*Fenced yard, prefer rural setting
*Experienced dog home
*No more than one other dog, so she gets plenty of attention
*She needs 3-4 weeks to bond with her new home before she starts going out to meet other people, dogs, etc.
Evie was "Taffy" from our 2019 Ryder x Bristol litter.
She was placed in a loving home in August of 2019 but came back to us Memorial Day weekend 2020 due to family allergies.
Evie had a great foundation at 8 weeks when we placed her, but more recently she has not been out a lot. She needs someone
who can get her out and socialize her correctly, once she has settled in. An obedience or manners class would be great for her.
While I'm sure she would be ok with kids eventually, they are too busy for her until she is comfortable since she was not
raised around kids. Evie is fine with nail trims, and we are working on bath & grooming manners on the table. She just blew her puppy
coat, and her pretty adult coat is starting to come in. She can be crated 7-8 hours overnight or during the day without accident. She
recently rode in a crate in the van with us for an all day road trip (9 hours) and she did wonderful. Did not make a peep and does not get carsick
when crated (we don't let our dogs ride without a crate, so no idea how she would do that way). She is used to having a fenced in back yard to
run off her excess energy. She is super sweet, wants to learn, and is very active. We are currently working on some basic obedience such as
sits, downs, automatic sit when heeling, etc. We'll continue to work with her and getting her out in public as long as she stays with us, but
she does need her own family that will love her. We are just too busy with the adults we already have to focus on her for shows/trials.
She will be sold on contract.
There will be a rehoming fee to guarantee she is going to a good home.
We will be screening thoroughly and be pretty picky about where she goes.
